Generis, a global leader in enterprise content and information management, will be appearing at BoxWorks 2019 in San Francisco to talk about the launch of new CARA and their partnership with cloud management company Box. Following the update, CARA will offer a number of new features such as maps, charts, real time data streaming and navigation by images, alongside all the excellent existing features thanks to which, it is now used by 8 of 10 key Life Science enterprises, as well as leading companies in Finance, Media, Energy, and Government sectors.
Since announcing their partnership last year, Generis and Box have worked together to provide cutting-edge, top of the market content management solutions. Combining CARA’s user interface, configuration options and functionality with Box’s GxP cloud and data privacy proficiency, enables the customer to benefit from an application that is not only 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP compliant, but also offers an end to end Regulatory Information Management solution.
“We are thrilled to bring our flagship content services platform CARA to the Box family. With decades of experience in developing industry-leading solutions to support the complex business processes of regulated companies, we are excited to join the digital transformation journey of Box customers.” – Max Kelleher, COO of Generis.
New CARA brings together well-established CARA components, which are indispensable to current users, along with exciting new developments to further improve and streamline consumer experience, such as a new, elegant and intuitive user interface. It has ability to handle both data and documents, to connect to multiple repositories, and it is cloud hosted and based on a new Saas system, which makes CARA indispensable not only to organisations within Life Sciences but also to other sectors that require a high level of regulatory information management. CARA is cloud hosted so that no in-house severs are required which both accelerates the set up and is cost effective for the business.
