Our migration process

Often, a business’ hesitancy towards migration can stem from concerns around integrations, and custom work within their current environments. We address these concerns with CARA’s rest APIs, robust configurability, and low code application builder.

extract
Extract
We leverage either the tools of the existing system vendor OR our tools and 3rd party tools from our partners to extract the content, metadata / data and audit trails into formats like CSV or Excel.
analyse
Analyse
We work together with the customer to analyse the existing data, determine how much of it is useful, consistent, and matches the requirements of the new system.
enrich
Enrich
Based on the mapping from the analysis, we use tools to clean up and standardise the data ready for import, and iteratively import in DEV.
certificate
Validate
We then validate the data import in the VAL environment with all the required documentation and testing, as well as the verifications, using our bulk import tools.
upload
Upload
The final step is to load all the data into production. Typically, we do this as a full migration about 1 month before go-live, and then a final delta migration during a cut-over go-live weekend.

We understand your challenges

We can facilitate the whole migration process, including the ‘as is/to be’ business model, architecture check, data migration, support, licenses, and total cost of ownership. Here are a few key reasons why you can benefit from migrating to CARA.

tick
Our CARA Platform employs a ‘one user, one licence’ pricing model, this means that consolidating multiple disconnected systems can drive significant cost savings.
tick
With CARA’s ‘one-user, one-license’ approach, you can pick and choose which applications and use cases you require from the platform, expanding adoption as the business requires.
tick
As well as offering robust security controls, CARA can be provided as a private cloud, giving you more control and flexibility over back-up and disaster recovery.
tick
You have the freedom of multiple cloud locations to avoid latency issues, with the ability to scale as a global enterprise requires.
