James Kelleher

James Kelleher is President and Chief Client Officer at Generis. As the founder, James has dedicated over two decades to building Generis into a trusted partner for regulated industries, including Life Sciences, Financial Services, and Oil & Gas. His passion lies in delivering innovative, scalable solutions that modernise enterprise information management and drive customer success.

James began his career in Life Sciences, working at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) before founding Generis in 1997. Under his leadership, the company developed the CARA™ platform, a groundbreaking solution that transforms complex business processes in highly regulated sectors. In 2024, James transitioned from CEO to his current role, to give him time to focus more on customer engagement, strategic partnerships and advancing technological innovation.

A graduate of Cambridge University, James has a musical background and is a an experienced opera and symphonic conductor. Outside of work, James is a dog lover, an avid traveller, and a sailing enthusiast.

Max Kelleher

Max Kelleher is Chief Executive Officer at Generis. Equipped with a decade of experience at the company, and formerly COO, Max is passionate about providing a viable, pragmatic path for modernising enterprise information management in regulated industries. His close work with both pharma companies and specialist solution partners has afforded him deep insight into the critical modern-day challenges that traditional approaches to business processes and information use in complex regulated industries do not fulfil.

Max has grown with Generis, progressing through a number of varied roles; beginning as a Business Development & Partner Liaison during the company’s earlier years, moving on to Head of European Operations, before becoming Chief Operating Officer, and finally Chief Executive Officer in 2024. Max holds a joint honours in Management & Philosophy from the University of St Andrews. In his free time, Max enjoys sailing and spending time with his dog Chloe.

Rex Harrison

Rex Harrison joined Generis in 2020, progressing through a number of roles before advancing to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Rex is responsible for executing Generis’ operational strategy and alignment of internal teams to drive customer and partner engagement and delivery. Prior to this, Rex served as an Independent Programme Management Consultant, leading major digital transformation programmes and projects for global companies like Reckitt, Smiths Group and Envigo (now part of Covance). He also was a co-founder and held the position of Chief Operating & Financial Officer at i-nexus Global Ltd, where he was responsible for defining and executing a SaaS strategy that attracted a significant number of blue chip customers and venture capital investment as part the early development leading to its admission to LSE in 2019 . Rex holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and is a Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) and a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
