Generis partners with Christian Schmitz-Moorman to expand the PV capabilities of the CARA Life Sciences Platform

London, UK – April 27 2022 – Generis, provider of the CARA Life Sciences Platform for managing the business processes, data, and content of the entire product development lifecycle, today announced that they will be partnering with Christian Schmitz-Moormann to expand their Pharmacovigilance Case Management, and other Safety capabilities. The CARA Life Sciences Platform offers out-of-the-box applications for Quality, Regulatory, Safety, Clinical and wider enterprise use cases such as marketing and HR, built on a single “information lake” allowing seamless exchange of data and content between the different departments.

Christian brings 30 years of experience in services, training and change consultancy, with an impressive history of senior roles in Safety and Quality at Life Sciences companies such as Merck and Boehringer Ingelheim. Currently, Christian works as an independent consultant on projects which hold a particular interest for him. Christian will undertake the role of subject matter expert and assist with building out further enhancements to the PV Case Management application for the release of CARA Life Sciences Platform 2.0.

“I am really looking forward to bring to CARA the process knowledge and understanding providing Customers with a compliant and accessible Safety system that fully leverages the advantages of the integrated platform”, says Christian, “and I see a lot of potential for efficiency and added value through the ‘built-in’ process integration. This work will hopefully be of high value to many.”

Commenting on the new partnership, James Kelleher, CEO and founder of Generis, said, “I’m delighted to work with Christian on extending our PV capabilities within CARA. We’re constantly developing and looking for new ideas to enhance the functionality of the CARA Life Sciences Platform. Working with subject matter experts such as Christian allows us to build world class applications based on feedback from Safety experts, prioritising the requirements of the end users in meeting regulatory compliance.”

Generis allows companies to simplify, standardise, and automate Safety processes with the data-driven CARA platform, which offers best of breed solutions for PV Case Management, PSMF, SDEA, PSURs, Medical Inquiries, MedDRA Integrations and Risk Management.
